Oh yea, forgot to mention, do you care about having LSD? Base models don't have it just FYI. If you can, try find an Enthusiast or above. You can try find an 06 which is a bit cheaper but with same interior as the 07+, but you run the risk of getting oil consumption. And since you seem to be limiting your car buying budget pretty low, I'm assuming you prolly don't got spare $ to be fixing / replacing motors if you do get unlucky.
What I can tell you is, my friend has an 06 and his engine runs strong. No oil consumption and transmission doesn't have synchro issues either. But if you search online, you'll understand the older Z's are notorious for those 2 major issues. Not saying it's a guarantee or not that you'll run into these issues, but since the cars are going to be out of warranty, it is something to consider; hence why I'm pushing the HR models on you. But if not 06+, you can try the 04.5 models. To my understanding they are supposedly pretty reliable. but I haven't looked much into those so I'm not exactly sure how to distinguish 04 and 04.5.

No don’t really care for LSD or not.
Thanks for the link to the 06, but into the 16k area. I am most likely getting the 07 with 87k miles. He is the original owner and he is going to have a complete maintenance check and then send me the copy of the results for my records.
Getting pretty excited but I still have a ways to go as I have to wait for it to end auction, then setup payment through my bank then pay for a truck to pick it up and deliver it. I got a company that will ship it for 650 door to door. Only down side is it will take about 5 days for pickup and possibly 8 days for delivery.
I am probably going to get a full exhaust (headers back) here in a day or two. Oh and as for the comment about "spare $". I make a good leaving (US Air Force) and don’t have a lot of debt pilling up now. Once you get to my age, you have to set budgets for things. I set a budget for this car and that’s how you have to go about it. If you don’t set a budget (which I have learned the hard way) you can find yourself in a world of trouble if you just keep raising your limit.
I do appreciate the concern, and take the suggestion to heart. But at the end of the day I’m the one responsible for my bills/cars heck life for that matter (unless you talk to my wife she believes I’m irresponsible LOL).

Gonna cost me about $200-$300 to paint the fender. It had a dent in it from a shopping car and he did the body work and looks great, just have to get it shot with paint. Anyone know where to buy OEM paint for these cars, not the quick fix paint pins. I have painted cars before so im pretty good at spraying. Thanks

You can try www.Courtesyparts.com. I got mine locally because that dealer is near me, but I hear ppl talking about ordering parts from them online too. The paint I got for my car cost like $12 for touchup.

PPG is good paint... There are a lot of other good companies too.
If you have a compressor / gun.. Spray and buff .... done.
Beats paying $650-1000 for a simple paint job.
Congrats on the new ride. Enjoy the ride !!!!

Go go to your local auto body paint store... Find in yellow pages or online phone book.

Throw in some ghost flames (j/k).
Similar to my friend that cooks up a storm and then leaves the dishes for everyone else to do. Lol. Maybe you can find someone that want to learn how to spray / clean up to become your flunky. LOL
Good luck
