Default Need advice on which model to get, and any common problems with the car, tia

Hey Im looking to buy a new 350Z, up here in Canada choice is Performance model, Touring and Track. Was gonna get the performance, maybe in black on black. Ive currently got an Audi TT,which has over 20K in aftermarket parts on it..THing brakes down all the time. Cant take it anymore. Gonna list it this month and get rid of it. ON the 350Z is there any known and common defects? Like on the Audi factory suspension lasts about 6 months then deteriorates really badly. I want to leave it alone for about a year before I dump the bucks on it. How do the brakes hold up? Any fade? How is the tranny? I have heard some complain that its notchy, does it get smoother? ANy common electrical problems? Any motor issues? How is high speed handling, my TT will do alittle over 160mph, but has bad high speed lift, hows the 350? Any tips as to what to look for or avoid? Anybody got any pics of black on black? THanks....any iput would be really cool...I know you guys probably get alot of these posts..some thanks for anybody who takes some time to answer some questions..the sooner Im drivin Rice again the better..I really miss my old tuned Hondas and Acuras...German crap is overpriced...and Im not gonna miss it. TIA

Damn Chuck, take a deep breath after all that.

First, I can relate to you on the german car thing. Next, you can look at a list of TSBs' by clicking the RESOURCES button at the top. You'll have to make sure to show all threads from the beginning to make sure you can see them all. A few issues with transmissions, tire feathering and crank angle sensor have come up. These things seem to have gotten solved in the 04 models.

Good luck.
