Back when my supra was orange in color and still had the "Toyota" mark and supra badge, an older gentleman came up to me and asked me if this was the ne Ferrari XD.
I looked at him straight in the face and said "sure is!" If he's not smart enough to tell that it's a Toyota, I don't see the point in telling him what it really is lol

I was just going to say something along those lines lol... I get asked ALL the time what kind of car it is. Many of which are standing right next to the car when they ask. You would think they would recognize its a Nissan to start off because of the emblems on the front and rear? haha but I guess not.
Then of course I get the usual.. (not necessarily dumb questions, but ones I get asked all the time lol)
Is it fast?
Is it a manual?
Is it front wheel drive?
Do you drive it in the winter?
When are you gonna let me drive it?
Is there a back seat?
Why would you buy a car without a back seat?

i get the bottom 3 alot, i was just filling up at a gas station when a guy said hey nice new 2012 350z. then he told me i should have gotten a safer car because when it rains i will hydroplane and crash...

To someone who isn't super into cars, I can see where they would see a resemblance between the Z and a Porsche. Of course the Nissan badges and headlights are blatant give aways, but on a very basic level I can see similarities.
Got asked the classic "Is it turbo charged" at work after they heard me driving leaving for lunch break. I instantly thought of this thread. My Z is all stock except rims and interior cosmetics btw, lulz.
I'll cut him some slack though, he's a pretty cool guy, but I don't think he knows what a turbo should sound like.
