What does FairladyZ mean? I am a newbie and don't know.

FairladyZ is the model name for the JDM (japanese domestic market) Z

Fairlady is the name of Z cars in Japan.

Nissan USA market the Z car as 280Z, 300ZX, 350Z
Nissan Japan market the car as Fairlady Z.

USA: 350Z, G35 coupe, 240SX, 3000GT, SRT-4
Japan: FairladyZ, Skyline, Silvia, GTO, Neon

C'mon, you never played Gran Turismo?

No, I have played several racing games but never Gran Turismo...is it a good game? I personally don't care for the Fairlady name....cause i think she is much better than Fair.

ok i can forgive you not knowing what does a FairladyZ mean ... but not playing Gran Turismo ? and asking if its a good game ?you my friend have just commited a deadly sin..

Reese, the "fair" doesn't refer to its performance; it refers to how beautiful this car is. It comes from "My Fair Lady", which, of course, is the original "Pretty Woman".

Yeah thanks man! New found respect for the name now. I was just thinking it was some new slang someone came up with. Forgive me for not knowing, my first Z was just bought last Saturday so i don't know alot about the history. Thanks again!

I didn't know the name had that much history on it. I just knew it was the JDM name. Very interesting. Thanks for the link.

Now i know why i haven't played Gran Turismo....I have a XBOX and before that i had Sega...its only available for playstation.
