My first ride in the 350Z AT!
Well I had onebig time surprise this weekend, a friend happen to pick up a 350Z AT that was being used for a review ...they took it home and I got to drive it!
I used to think people were full of it when they say people stop and just stare at the car .. let me tell you the Silverstone w/Burnt orange interior turned so many heads in 3 blocks I stopped counting and kept on smiling! More than a dozen actually followed me home to see it.
My impressions ... it had the NAV unit. I chaning my order ang getting it. It is so cool, for sure a toy but it is neat. Told me where to turn, missed turns neat.
The sound of the engine is mesmorizing (sp??) it has a nice growl but is not over powering in the cabin .. you definitely hear it. The cabin was remarkebly quiet I was expecting a noisy ride, veru quiet and extremely smooth.
The power ... well lets say my passenger just about **** themselves when I was cornering, it held like nothing I have driven before. I did at one corner manage to get the back end to come around and squeal... beautiful!
The stereo, my Maxima has a BOSE, the 350Z one is NOT as good! I'll leave it there.
The colour is so rich the lines/curves of the car just stand out. It is why I thnkI will NOT get black. As sexy as black is it looses the lines. I got a load of compliments on the colour and the orange interior. The ladies liked it alot!
Break were outstanding from the speed I was travelling it stop dead straight, no movement and in a hurry. Not like my Maxima (and I love my Maxima).
No date on my arrival (orderd in April) but I hope it gets here soon!
You guys/gals that got your ... I'm jealous!
