How common are Z's in your area?
Hi. This is my first post. I bought a 2004 Touring last month. I moved to Las Vegas about four months ago. Before I bought the car, I only remember seeing a couple around town. The strange thing now is that I see at least two a day. A guy that works in my office complex somewhere has one the same color (blue) now. When I was at the dealership a couple of days ago, they had many more than they had when I picked mine up. I think there were two coupes and a roadster when I picked mine up.
I'm pretty much seeing at least two a day. Seeing a G35 coupe about every 3 days. And I'm talking about days when the furthest I drive is a couple blocks down the street. I don't live anywhere near the strip or any other hotels either. It seems they are taking over Vegas. It makes me want to do something to stand out now. I think I'll start with some clear side markers..lol
What is it like in the other cities?

I live in Baton Rouge - not exactly a thriving metropolis. I see maybe one or two a day. And one of those is a babe driving a red roadster that I see most mornings on the way to work.
Last week was the first time I saw a Sunset Lemans in person. Does that give you an idea of how few there are around here?
I have a Daytona Blue on order and have only seen three others on the road over the past year. Looks like I'll be rather unique for a while.
I do notice a lot more G35s that Z's.
You might be experiencing the same thing I did when I bought my first Z 23 years ago. Because I had one, they became more familar to me and I seemed to be more aware of them. I could spot them a mile away. Once you fall in love with one, you can't help but notice all the others!

I live in Central MA, and out here, the 350z is a rare breed...I can count all the ones I've seen in my area on one hand. They're a lot more common as you get closer to Boston, however...

I live in New Orleans which isnt too far away from Baton Rouge where DavesZ#3 lives. I probably see a couple a day here and I do a decent amount of driving for my job. They are mainly silverstone and white around here. Very rare do I see many other colors especially Sunset Lemans and blue.

I'm sure that has a lot to do with it. Thanks for the replies!

Where I am (Miami) I see way more Porsches and BMWs then I see Z. Infact, I can go days without seeing a Z. Still have yet to see a white or Sunset. And the one I see most often is the same guy and he obviously lives somewhere around me. But more Porsches than I can shake a stick at.

Over here in Hawaii, I rarely see other Z's. There is a CS one that's close to where I work and I'll see a PPW around my neighborhood once in a while, but other than that .... nada! I love it that way. I can truely say that the Z REALLY do turn a lot of heads no matter where you go!
Now the G35 ...... THAT'S ANOTHER STORY!!

I see about 1 or 2 a day, living in Orange County (yes, like that stupid show) Tons of G35's, probably like 5 to 10 a day.
I would have to say about 8 out of 10 Z's I see are CS.

Richmond, VA and I'll see one or two a week, and I think it's the same ones everytime.
The only time I see more than that is when I drive by any of the Nissan dealerships. There's always several sitting on the lot.

Here in the Harrisburg/Hershey area of PA they are still pretty rare. I might see 5 a month or so, but hardly any since it started to snow. I see even less G35's, but that is probably because there are no Infiniti dealerships in the area. I like it this way though, the Z is still a fairly rare sight and when I take it out I still get a good amount of looks.
