Default Ballpark value of parted out 03 350Z?

Hi guys, I wanna part out my 03 350Z Touring with:

- less than 50k on the engine (I think it's an 05 engine)
- around 100k on everything else
- authentic urethane INGS LX kit with spoiler
- custom blacked out 07 HID headlights by CinCity
- pioneer AVIC-Z1 nav
- Rota P45 gloss black wheels with red lips in great condition
- stock everything else

I realize it's tough to say exactly how much, but BALLPARK - plus minus 10-20%... How much would I end up with?

Thanks guys!

P.S. Long story as to why I'm parting out, but I've made up my mind.

^+1, seeing the condition of everything will be easier to give you a ballpark

Look on Edmunds, KBB, etc. for value of stock car.

Check Marketplace, eBay for the parts listed there to get an idea what those parts sell for.

Add together for ballpark figure.

Parted out bud, as in I'm gonna sell it piece by piece. Condition of everything is good - no damage anywhere or anything like that.

Maybe $7,000.

The motor with 50,000 miles will sell.
Other drivetrain components, like the transmission, with 100,000 miles will be difficult to get rid of.

Good luck with this.

Ugh I wish i didn't just drop a whole bunch of money on winter tires and rims. Otherwise i'd be at your door tomorrow for those headlights. :P

Good luck with the part out. Not too much demand for the stock parts in our area. Trans might go to a speed shop. Engine will go quickly. If your seats are black someone will take them in decent time. Only thing is getting all this stuff out of the car. Takes a bunch of time.

Holy carp, are yous serious? $7000? Please explain in more detail - if that's really the case I think I'll reconsider. I thought I could get almost 20...

20K for used car parts? You better spend some time and look through the Marketplace and see what OEM parts are selling for. Besides the fact that it may take you years to sell all the parts, you'll be lucky to get 1/10 to 1/4 the price of what the new parts were worth.

Not many folks looking for stock parts. Probably looking at a good year or two to even get to the $7000 mark. $20k is totally not going to happen. You might eventually get to what you could sell the car for whole right now. Eventually.

Problem is low value - high weight. You can sell a door for $300. Crating and shipping cost $200. You have $100 in pocket, and spent 4 hours removing, crating and taking the door to the shipper.

If you have a 1953 Corvette in the garage to part out you have a money maker. A 350Z? Get real.

If you think you can part out your car and sell it for a lot more than its value, there would be a whole industry doing this.
