Nissan OEM Chrome Wheels?
Does anybody know where the 2004 18 inch Nissan OEM chrome wheels can be purchased...excluding dealerships? If so, how much are they? Just curious. Thanks!
From what I understand, here in AZ the dealerships were taking the wheels to local chrome companies and having them dipped there. And the 17" wheels I've seen look real cheap, haven't seen the 18" ....my .02

$1660 package from factory. I'm sure your dealer can get them to you for around that Scott.
EDIT: woops just saw that you dont want to get them through dealer. To answer that question: It will be next to impossible to get them from a 3rd party. You can however, find used chromed 18" touring rims on certain wheel sites.

I've seen chrome exchanges of "Z" wheels on EBay. BTW, Infiniti of Tucson charges $2000. for this, I think that is outrageous. Also, there's a couple of advertisements for chrome exchanges in AutoWeek. There's one near you in Maryland, Phone No. is (877) 66chrom. Another in California. Phone No. is (909) 595-0144, web site is chromeyourwheels.com. Just went to the site, 18" wheels are $135.00 ea.

The going rate in SoCal is around $500-$575. This includes dismounting the tires and rebalancing. I found a place that specializes in chrome rims. You call ahead and tell them what type of car and rims you have. They source some rims, chrome them.....then you go in and get your tires put on the chrome rims and trade in your old rims. They then have your rims for the next customer.
Another place I called was a chroming company that usually does high end car rims. (Mercedes, Vipers...etc.) They didn't have any 18 inch Z rims that I could swap out, but they offered to come to my house, take off my wheels and put my car on stands. They said it would take a week to chrome my wheels and would then bring them back and reinstall them. I didn't choose this route.
As mentioned, there is someone on e-bay that will send you chromed rims and then put a big charge on your credit card until you return your old rims to them.
I bought the chrome "Z" center caps for my chrome stock wheels and the whole package looks fairly good on a chrome silver Z. When my tires wear out I may go with aftermarket 19 inch wheels, but I haven't decided for sure yet.

This is what I am talking about....Nissan now makes 18" chrome rims for the 2004 models. I was curious to know if there were any vendors out there selling these wheels for less than most dealers. I would like to buy chrome wheels for the summer and use 03 stock wheels for the winter.
- Thanks Ryan for your post.

Scott, no problem man. As far as I know, the chrome 18" rims are not manufactured by any commercial company like the Ray's Engineering Track model rims are. This makes getting them from a 3rd party that much harder. If I were you, I'd look into getting Volks. Polished lip volks look nothing short of stunning on silverstone Zs
Scott, if you want stock 18" chromes I forgot where you could check
