Default Compass for 350Z

How about a NAV substitute for us poor owners with an empty space behind that big door on the dash?

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...303516-8548945

This might be a nice digital compass to fill the void, and a handy way for us guys with a lousy sense of direction to keep from getting lost. It can show the inside temp too so you can see how well the climate control system is doing. Not quite as powerful as the navigation system, but at $80, it's a lot cheaper!

My opinion on the nav was: $2000 can buy me a whole crapload of maps.

**** - $2k can buy you a GPS and a crap load of maps still. Still, the NAV on the Z is a pretty sweet unit although not my cup of tea.

I am sorry I couldn't resist to continue my short replies, but Orlando would be a great outing once more cars arrive and have a caravan on the turnpike, keep in touch.

Default NAV substitute?

OK, I'm one of those who also did not want to pay $2K for the NAV system, but would like to put something minimum in it place. Any suggestions on a compass/inside temp system that will fit/look good in that space?

I drive in circles all day in the Z whenever I get lost.

I'm in the Z so I'm appreciating every minute of being lost.

AHAH!
