Default EZ "fix" for seatbelt "rattle"

Take a 3 inch piece of black velcro and stick the "loop" section to the pillar where the belt latch hits the pillar - no more sound - so easy!!!!

Good tip. I was just wondering what to do about that rattle this morning.

Why not just use the clip?

It's not easy to put it in the clip when you're driving. The velcro thing sounds like it would be automatic.

The velcro IS automatic - the clip isn't - simple explanation for using the velcro instead - you don't have to mess with it. You don't have to put it into the clip. Take the easy way out - the velcro is almost "invisible."

I used a piece of this stuff I had got at radio shack to hold my GPS receiver in my old car. It's non adhesive and seems to stick to the pillar pretty well. I've only had it on there for a day, so I'll see how long it stays there. If it ends up falling off, I'll be going with the velcro.

Anyone else getting an additional rattle from the passenger seat release (behind the seat)? I can't seem to get it to fit flush.

when you guys mention the "clip", are you referring to the actual seat belt clip located at the passengers left hip or a clip located elsewhere designed to hold the seat belt buckle?

I use the clip when I remember to put it in there. It's just that sometimes it's a pain after you drop someone off to lean over and put it in. Usually, I don't think of it until after I'm moving.
