Back ends don't just "kick out" unless far too much speed is involved. You need to learn to drive better and control the car. Maybe you need to take some high performance driving lessons.
Sorry to hear about your shunt. Besides the bodywork, check the LR wheel and suspension for damage, particularly the hub and bearing. At a minimum, the alignment is now way out.
