In Japan cool Japanese parts?
I'm in Japan for the next 5 months driving a POS Subaru rental and putting together a short list of what I'm going to order for my stock 05 touring that is currently sitting in my garage waiting for me. My question is are there any parts I should look into getting out here that I can not get in the states?
I'm gonna drive around tomorrow and look for some shops and see what they have but any ideas I'd love to hear them.
thanks

Unlock the 350Z in Initial D and pretend you are already home driving that '05! Most Japanese will be just as impressed with your simulated driving as Americans would be with the real thing.
Rather than asking us, I would be out hitting the tuning shops.
Amuse, Top Secret, Mine's, MCR, and they still have Autobacs there I believe??
I've seen pictures from autobac's and alway dreamed of just browsing through there.
RB26 longblock shipped to 43035?
edit: oh ya and I would definitely make a trip to Liberty Walk if I were in Japan. not that they'll have anything for your Z but their cars are redonk.

hey robbie, I was in japan all of December 2011 and Jan 2012 and I found that the US dollar was so weak that buying parts in Japan is actually more expensive.
A new basic nismo shift **** normally $50.00usd was almost $ almost 7,000yen or about 60 -70 dollars. Now imagine how much a real engine part would cost.

well, aren't we all familiar with prices already? I'd say go check the shops for prices. But with shipping and whatever laws they have for import/export i doubt you'd save or make any money.
Might want to just get some cool accessories that they dont even ship to us here.
Have fun!

The food there is so expensive like a cup noodles is like a $1.00 here and over there is like $12.00
With the rates right now you'll be paying a premium for almost anything that sells at retail prices. My vote goes to UpGarage if your looking for used parts.
Not my pics but they are generally like this in my experience. Good luck bringing any of it home!
