When i was stopped someone who saw me crash pulled up next to me and started laughing and took off. He came back did the same thing and went on his way.
This made me

I'm not sure how this is insurance fraud, because AllState gave you the money for the damage which was done to your car. You should probably look into bringing the guy to court. There is a huge thread (Cant miss it) on someone elses horrible auto body experience. Take a read of that.

.. how badly would your @ss be puckered at that crash scene OP if when you looked behind you it wasnt your cf trunk you saw but a lady coming out of a banged up volvo you hit... screaming.. bloody.. and holding a dead child.

Stop worrying about your car, the repair quality, and your 9500 bucks and stop writing about this online in a nonchalant fashion.. it could have been very bad dude, and this grown adult male is telling you that you should be embarassed and very humbled my man. .
+2000

I hate to judge someone I don't know, but I'm sick and tired of hearing people doing this crap. I love how some people think nothing will happen when they "drift" a corner at 95 mph on public roads. I see it everyday with people not thinking of others that are/could be around them when this inexcusable action results into something like this. People work for something then blow it in a split second. I'm sorry but I've been fortunate not to do stupid s*** in my life because I over analyze everything before I do it. It mostly stems from seeing others doing stupid s***.

OP, next time leave the detailed accident story out of this and focus on the shop story. We all don't need to know what really happened, especially for your sake since you're being flamed for it. Learn from this OP since this could have been a lot worse for you and possibly others. Remember, there are other people on the road. Take it to the track next time and good luck with the repairs.

No sympathy what-so-ever. Another Dugan in the books.

Did Op never read stories that lives and money were lost by people driving stupidly? You are 21 years old and I'm sure you know how hard it is to save money.. If you didn't, I'm sure you know now after what happened

About 11:00 at night and it was sprinkling on and off through out the day. I was stopped at a light and a white srt4 pulled up next to me, reved at me, turned on his blue neons and really pissed me off lol. My gf was behind me in her 350z (yes my gf drives a black 6sp vert with wheels and a full sound system... 5 1' 107 lbs i know i know back to the story lol) she shakes her head because she knows how i drive and what i was going to do. But anyways light turns green, im about 5-6 cars ahead and the road starts to slightly turn to the right and then to the left, my rear end starts to slide just a bit, nothing i havent been used to but then it starts to slide a bit more as im going through the turn, mind this is going at about 90-95 mph... i cut the wheel a bit to the left to straighten the car out and as soon as i do that the car does a 360, i hit the curb so hard that i bounced on top of it, went on the sidewalk, hit a wall, about 20+ bushes, cracked a tree in half, and slid back onto the road... Guy in the srt4 pulls up next to me and starts laughing and takes off... I honestly dont remember what happened because i blacked out when i was spinning but i did about 5-6 360s and skidded about a 100 yards before the car stopped. I didnt think the damage was that bad because i didnt know i hit the wall till later on after i got out of the car... My front bumper was torn off, my cf hatch got ripped off when i hit the wall, all 4 of my wheels were cracked, my radiator support was cracked and twisted, my control arms and rear tie rods were snapped in half... Got a 10k check from allstate and the damages were only about 5-6k max...

walked away without a scratch and airbags didnt even deploy... i hit the wall and left a hole the size of a basketball in it and i hit it in my rpassanger rear quarter panel next to the gas tank... if i would have hit it head on i doubt i would be here right now...
Car is still being fixed and repainted, since i got such a huge check im going with all aftermarket parts so the car is coming back harder than before.. But seriously guys drive safe it was a real eye opener for me...

I was hoping that OP mentioned that he was doin this on a track.....then I seen it was on a public road and I now I don't feel bad that that happened to him. Hopefully that will teach you to not drive like an idiot OP. Least you walked away from it.

What the hell does school have to do with anything? I made well over 100K without a college education, yes legally. So school is just another way of tricking you clowns into spending more money. Yes I went back (Masters), but after I could afford it, on my own. lol

Where are your priorties, or let me guess, your parents paid for your school? You cant save 10K, with you cool job? Then maybe your priorties are screwed up, maybe you have a house that too big, or too many kids, or too many playstations, or drink too many beers.

back on topic

OP, I say cut your losses man. you are live to learn and rebuild. Take your time, make better choices. I got FUAWKED over by a shop too... 25K in work and my car still looks like shizt!
So I assume that you share the same sentiments with the OP of driving idiotic and thinking your a Ridge Racer.

BTW! Are you going to Zdayz this year? I'd prefer we have this conversation face to face so you can express your thoughts and we can determine if it comes to hand to hand blows.

I'm willing to bet you have more in common than you perceive at first glance based solely off the fact both of your usernames contain "shizz".

when a bodyshop colludes with an insured to bilk an insurance company for funds
greater than those necessary to return the insured to the state he/she was in prior
to the claim, it is fraud.

this is why our ****ing insurance is so high.

pieces of **** like this.

What is Insurance Fraud?
Fraud occurs when someone knowingly lies to obtain some benefit or advantage to which they are not otherwise entitled or someone knowingly denies some benefit that is due and to which someone is entitled. Depending on the specific issues involved, an alleged wrongful act may be handled as an administrative action by the Department or the Fraud Division may handle it as a criminal matter.

Inflated Damages - Damages inflated or exaggerated, non-existent or pre-existing; excessive billing of vehicle body parts or repair work.

I've provided a simple form for the mods below -

http://www.insurance.ca.gov/0300-fra...FormReader.pdf

This is the person responsible for investigating such fraud based on OP's

Nothing wrong with using the insurance money for something other than the exact repairs on the estimate.

Going 95 in public was the most illegal thing he did, and he received his punishment for that already.

Destroyed his carbon hatch, insurance payed for a carbon hatch , installing his old OEM hatch instead of buying a new CF hatch. Not fraud.

Billing for OEM parts, installing used and the shop pockets the money. Fraud
