Default What's my car worth?

Good Morning Gentlemen

I need to free up some finances and I am thinking about selling my car.

It is a 2005 Pikes Peak Enthusiast 6pd 350z with 55k miles, HIDs, all that. The car is in immaculate condition not a single issue nor ding scratch or chip. Exterior and interior both 10/10 not a single imperfection on the car. Also 10/10 mechanically. just had the front bumper replaced and sprayed fresh. Car is immaculate and bone stock. Located in NJ.

Looking for private sale value. For reference, KBB value is $13,699-15,799 (fair - excellent).

How much would you advertise on craigslilst, etc? Id like to sell quickly but i dont plan to give it away.

Thanks

List it for 16k expect offers about 2 grand less then that seems to always be the trend when selling cars.

also, if any gearheads have a reccomendation for a replacement vehicle. something used, affordable, <10k, practical and mature.

I am VW guy at heart so any ideas other than VWs and hondas (hate them) are appreciated.

When I sold my Altima before I got my Z it was KBB'd at like $9700 and I knew I wouldn't get as much since it was a MT. But getting calls from people offering 4 and 5k made want to kill someone. Finally found a buyer though just have to ignore the low ***** and have some patience.

Do some due diligence. Check craigslist, cars.com, autotrader etc and see what others are asking. Car prices swing month to month, depending on season, availability and your location.

Most of the members here have purchased there Z's years ago so asking what the fair market price wont be accurate.
