Mine's a daily driver, too. Kinda makes me wish I lived a little farther from work. Today I took her to a potluck arranged by my dad's college friends. Everybody came out to see it, and everybody had good things to say. One wanted to know how my dad could let me have such a powerful machine. My dad's answer? "He's paid for his own cars since the first one he bought, so I really didn't have any say in it."

BTW, I'm back.

Sorry folks, but I can bring myself to driving this car everyday.
I just took delivery of a leftover 2003, this weekend. What a great car. I missed the exit off the Interstate when driving it home on Saturday.
My reason is that I need this car to last. I am 49 years old and my first Z was a 1976. I then moved up to a 1980. I had to sell it to use the cash for a down payment on my house, as per my bride.
It has taken me 20 years to wrap my hands around this car. I plan to drive my piece of crap 1998 Mit. Gallant until it dies.
Only then will I think about using the Z for everyday use.
It looks so good sitting in the garage. Maybe I 'll keep the car and lose the wife, then I could buy another Z for everday use.
I can't believe that Nissan came out with this car!I never thought anything would compare to the 1980 Z. The Z cars in between were a joke!

Yeah, it's killing me to drive mine in bad weather, and that I've got 7000 miles on it after 6 months. Marriage or no marriage, I'm not getting rid of mine. No one can come between us!
