Default Topspeed Auto is a SCAMMER

i bought some brembo brakes from this vendor in the private classified section. http://g35driver.com/forums/brakes/3...4pot-2pot.html
topspeed described them as being in excellent condition with 15k on them. when they arrived they had blown piston seals on the front callipers the rear pads were chipping/flacking off pieces and a front rotor had a 1/8 inch deep groove cut into it. the calliper paint was peeling on all 4 callipers because topspeed did not drain out the brake fluid when shipping.

THIS VENDOR IS A SCAMMER AVOID AT ALL COSTS

TOP SPEED REFUSES TO MAKE IT RIGHT CLAIMING THAT THE PICTURES SHOW THE TRUE CONDITION OF THE BRAKES look at the thread to see how the brakes were represented.

heres a pic of a blown calliper shipped to me.

Yeah not at all what I would call "excellent" condition.

Good luck.

These are the R34 brakes? Do any of the calipers look like the one pictured?

that sucks man. Don't assume a product is in great condition just because a vendor is selling it, there are many shady vendors on here. I recenlty delt with jm auto racing and was trying to resolve a problem I had, guess what, they just stopped responding to my multiple emails, f king losers.

Why would you buy something from them? All they sell are shitty poor made parts.

i just looked over the thread, they ( seller) were pretty vague, and not alot of questions were asked by posters.
Seemed like a fairly noobish thread too TBH.

Sorry u got screwed, i really am.... but doesnt look like anyone asked for more pics, asked detailed questions etc.
Looks more like ppl were totally drooling over a dirty and used set of brakes for 1200 bucks which is 500 less than a set of brand new 14" fr AND rear 370 brakes from CZP/Akebono.

Zero clue, but the whole deal spells fail.

SOrry, learn ur lesson, move on man.

Great advice after the fact. Plus, these are Brembo brakes - there is no issue with the quality of Brembos, just the condition of these particular Brembos.

That is exactly why I bought Akebono's.
Why spend ~1200-1500 on a set of used Brembo's when I can save up a little more and get brand new everything.

Sorry to hear about you getting screwed over.
Hope it gets solved.

I don't know if this falls under scammer qualifications but poor customer service and knowledge of the product they were selling. They should have never shipped with brake fluid still in them, that's just hazardous. More pics?

You have to admit what they advertised wasn't what our member received. The pic in the add makes them look new but what he received was hardly the same. I advised him to get new rotors and have the calipers rebuilt/powder coated. At least they'll work like new....Gary

The calipers can't "blow" but you do have a torn seal which is easily replaceable.. as for the brake fluid that really does suck but you can always have them repowder coated.. I'd ask for a discount or start a dispute with PayPal / your credit card company if they wont work with you on these issues..
