I've bought many things from top speed, and they've always been on point with everything from shipping, price to performance.

 

so what happened? How come they didnt chime in??

 

shipped the brakes back to topspeed in chicago and was refunded by paypal today.

 

good question. the first time they contacted me since the start of the paypal dispute was after they got a call from the fraud department of Illinois. they sent me an email saying they would refund me and have the item shipped back to them at their cost. this was after the brakes were sent back per the paypal agreement for a refund, and were being held at customs by andrew of topspeed because topspeed did not want to use fedex as the broker. topspeed now says they wont even cover half the shipping costs since i didnt use their call tags, but had to ship out asap because of the paypal demand that the product be returned to the seller.

 

i'm about to buy a brand new invidia gemini exhaust with them because they make me a good price should i trust them?

 

update: returned the brakes to topspeed, got refunded by paypal for returning the brakes and got $100 towards the return shipping refunded by topspeed.

 

if it's cheaper than $800 shipped.

 

Had a bad experience with them a while back. Ordered the Hks Replica that they produced and it was by far the sh1ttiest quality part i've ever purchased. holes in the welds, fitment was horrific.. and did they do a thing about it? no.

 

^ no offence but what can you expect from replicas?

 

the fact that it's a replica has no effect on whether the product will be well made? that makes no sense.

my current $250 ebay hks replica is 10x the craftsmanship and fitment of the $500 topspeed replica.
