Calling All The OGs. Alberto, DavidV, Ect, Ect..Tell Me How To Build My Z!
So for a little background.
Last week I took the Z out of winter hibernation. She still rips and the handles like a dream. The only problem is the car doesn't seem to pull the way I remembered it did. Never planned on doing any engine modification but I guess here I go.
The car:
2003 350z Touring A/T
roughly 28,000 miles and everything is still bone stock.
listed at 287hp but I have never dynoed it to see what the actual WHP is.
From what I have seen, I would guess WHP typically stands around 210 - 220whp for this model? correct me if I am wrong.
This is my DD and as of this year will be driven in the winter.
Goals:
I want to stick to N/A.
Nothing too crazy, no turbo or anything.
I am more into feeling the pull of the car.
So I guess I can assume that I am more torque oriented than HP, although I realize they do go hand in hand.
Just to throw a number out their I guess I would say around 260whp, although I realize it will likely be much less than this.
I am also planning on doing suspension and wheels to supplement the increase in power.
What I have planned:
Motordyne Plenum spacer 5/16
Motordyne XYZ (straight, resonated or HFC pipe?)
5zigen Pro Racer ZZ Catback exhaust
Stillen/HKS grounding kit (which is better?)
Stillen engine damper
Top fuel power chamber
Other possibilities:
Crawford Headers
Berk HFC
I realize the list is quite basic but if you have anything you think should be added or changed please let me know. I am always open to suggestions.
Disclaimer: I am quite new to engine modding and the modding scene in general. So my knowledge is quite limited and explanation may have to be simplified for my understanding.
Thanks for all your help.

Don't waste your money on engine damper, grounding kit, headers.
Do Berk HFC. Pass on plenum spacer and do MREV2 instead. Exhaust is a toss-up, not much power there anyway, pick one for sound, weight savings, looks.

Apologies for those expecting pics.
I wanted to run it by a few people before going through with everything
All I have right now is the 5zigen exhaust and spl front A arms... lol.
And will be getting the motordyne xyz VERY soon.
I raised my car and found one side had a hole...

The first link you sent to be said that the thread was invalid?
And can't do anything about the exhaust now, the only thing I actually have purchased. it was too good of a deal to pass up haha. but will look into the Mrev2. Any reason about the plenum?

I'll be gathering some more info on this.
Good thing too b/c I would have never found out about this.
I always assumed everyone just went with a plenum spacer.
Do the gains really justify the cost when comparing the plenum spacer to the MREV2? It's almost 2x the money.
