$3000.00. What to do?
I have 3K to throw down on some aftermarket performance. What do you suggest for maximizing HP? I have looked into Turbo Kits on Ebay because thats the only place you can find them under 2G's but everyone i talk to says to stay away from Ebay Turbo Kits. This one shop wont even install them unless they are like GReddy or HKS. ******** cuz i want a custom setup ya know but whatever. An ideas on Max Power gain for 3 thousand dollars?

I'll be 28 on the 27th of this month. Recovering drug addict and alcoholic. Been arrested 9 times, have 2 felonies and have spent over a year of my life behind bars. But thanks for the assumption. It's always good to stay young at heart but as far as drug and alcohol abuse go, when a person starts drinking excessively they stop growing mentally. So in my case I am about 18 or 19 years old as far as mental capacities. Been in recovery for about a year and a half, life is going great. Got my dream car and I'm loving it. Hopefully God spoke to your heart through what I have said. Enjoy your day and thanks for the post.

Flo I'm definately dropping it soon with some eibachs or such. As far as rims, eh. I would rather take performance over eye candy. But maybe in the future for sure. Im thinking Tomei cams and valve springs, also aluminum forged pistons and bearings... Basic internal beef up. ? I'm immature and i like speed. literally haha. No but seriously i am an adrenaline junky so first comes horsepower, then comes the panty dropping exterior. Thanks for the post bro
Thanks bro
A pair of lips will say anything. You have the right to be unsure.

Turbo 350Z Setup - $7,000 - $50,000 TO DO IT RIGHT. If you are spending any less I will guarantee you either won't make power, you **** will break (most likely), you are buying a used kit... In which case you better know who you are buying from and even then the risk is that your **** will break or something is missing.
3K will barely buy a new haltech, let alone fuel, clutch, turbo kit itself, install by a pro shop. I just doesn't sound like you have any clue what you are getting into on that.
You'd be better off setting that 3K on fire rather than tearing up your Z with anything from ebay.
I like Flo-rida's suggestion.
Most power output for 3K,
Buy one of my used Haltechs, 1000 shipped,
Buy a 75-100 Wet Shot setup of Nitrous, ~$700
Walbro 255 fuel pump $100
RPS Clutch Fly Wheel $700
Have it all professionally tuned and installed. ~500-1000
That is all your money right there in a setup that wasn't half assed and will be significantly faster than you are now.
Here are links to what I was referring to. But being part of our community is something to look forward to and as my advice sometimes falls on deaf ears. Let me say it to you. Call a reputable shop. I recommend Dynosty, but I am sam-biased. Forged is good, most of the big shops on here that advertise are usually pretty good. Just search for reviews.

Vehicle specific Nitrous Kit. 350Z
http://www.conceptzperformance.com/C...20081230220008
RPS Clutch Kit, you must also order the flywheel, since its not a Dual Weight.
From this point its only semantics if you are going onto the bottle. Long Tube Headers, Exhaust, Good Intake Manifold, Better Intake if 03-05. If performance is something you must have, lighten the car. Your obsession shouldn't be buying the next part off ebay, thats childish. It should be maximizing your setup. Every 100 lbs is ~ 1/10th of a second in the 1/4 mile. Heavy show wheels reduce performance( acceleration, braking, sometimes brake cooling, handling etc.., body kits add weight and most look awful. Big stereos are the worst for performance, its a sports car not some damn mobile DJ Booth. How loud do you need it to be.
Other small modifications I recommend. Agency Power Teflon Coated SS Clutch Line, Hawk HPS+ Brake Pads, SS Brake Lines, Motul RBF 600 brake fluid. If you lower the car realize what that does to the suspension geometry. Not just slammin it cause you want to look cool.

I'd highly suggest you check the stickys at the top of each sub forum and read up. We are brutal here and unfortunately the new guys are as brutal but really don't know how to navigate this place.

Flo has the right idea
I have full bolt on and I'm happy with the power I'm making for now. If you want straight line fast you'll have to spend a lot of money on the Z. If you want decent power and great handling then find a great used coilover suspension on here and start there.
The enkei wheels he posted are also great weight savings
