i to have had this problem what i have tryed is taking the nozzle completly out then reinserting it in the Z and it will work. but when your close to your target say you filling up $40.00 and your at $39.70 and you stop it will do this problem and you will have to keep pressing the gas handle repeatedly until you reach 40 it almost acts like it doesn't want gas but its not full. I guess the Z is picky on some days. happens to me random its not the gas station pumps cause some that have worked for me also give me this problem some days.

Happens to me very rarely and on random occasions. I always figured that it was due to the flow rate of the pump being greater than what the tank can take in so the gas backs up and the pump senses that its full. I just wait about 30 seconds then continue pumping and it allows me to fill up normally for a little while. Just a theory though, not sure if this is actually the case.

it is 100% operator error. i had the TSB done years ago and i found that if i try to run the gas in full force it will cut off early. yeah it takes it a bit of time ti fill it up but run it at close to 1/2 and you will be fine.

I turn it 90 degrees and it works fine

I have an 08, and experience this pretty regularly if it is hot enough out or I've been driving the car enough to heat up the vapors. Wondering if I should bother letting the stealership touch it.

I got something in the mail about it, but I've been fortunate enough to have never had this issue personally. Here's the TSB: https://www.nissan-techinfo.com/asis.../V/I/1VI38.PDF
