I took an 04 base db in for 4500 with 119k miles. Had the hood, passenger 1/4, rear bumper and wheels repainted in my body shop. Then a new wheel bearing and valve cover gasket and im an owner at 6k for a cheap little dd.
12k for a clean tittle 03 track with 55k and seibon dry carbon fiber hood, seibon door pillars, apexi n1 exhaust, b&m short shifter, eibach springs, light weight flywheel, and volk te37's. Took it to local dealership and all it needed was new wipers. No leaks or squeaks so I was pretty happy.

I paid around 13.8k for a 2008 base 350z with 33k miles (Rebuilt title due to minor rear accident). It's completely stock and had brand new tires on it. Overall i think i got a decent deal

Jan of 2009 I bought a 2003 touring for $12,500. It had 52,000 miles.
I also bought a Mechanical Breakdown Protection plan from Mercury Insurance Group. I got the Platinum Plan, which provides bumper-to-bumper protection for $1,700. The plan lasted for 3 years or 30,000 miles (52,000 to 82,000).
As you can see in this thread the plan payed for its self (actually payed for it self two-times over after the Valve Cover change).
I've been so pleased with the plan that I renewed it for 4 years or 40,000 miles for $2,200 (82,000 to 122,000). I have 2 years or 20,000 miles left on the plan, but its already payed for its self.
I would NOT have bought the car used without the Mechanical Breakdown Protection plan.

It covered it. Nissan did all the work too.
BTW, if your thinking of buying a Mechanical Breakdown Protection plan from Mercury Insurance Group. Once you buy a policy you must drive your car for 1000 miles and wait one month before you make a claim. I think the car must have under 100,000 miles for the first policy too.

Naa i saw the pictures, it was just bumper, quarter panel, and trunk. No frame damage. I got it inspected too, all oem parts were installed. Also i meant its a rebuilt title, not salvage title. I forgot that salvage title meant that it was totaled.

rebuilt isnt much better..... it means it was totaled out and then repaired to be road worthy. but if you are happy with the car that is all that matters
"A rebuilt title is a title issued on a salvage car after it has been repaired, passed an inspection, and is considered legally road worthy. Cars suffering major damage such as flood or collision damage are issued a salvage license and can be sold for parts or to be restored, often by insurance companies on "total loss" vehicles. Once a restored vehicle has passed an inspection, it is issued a rebuilt title and can be used like a normal car. Consumers can save considerable money either by purchasing a vehicle with a rebuilt title or restoring a salvage vehicle themselves. The trade-off is that it can be difficult to get insurance on rebuilt vehicles, especially coverage for physical damage."

I bought my 04 Enthusiast with 65k miles back in June 2013 for 12k OTD.
Needless to say, I haven't been able to NOT drive it so I've packed on 20k miles in the past 9 months O_o
Think I have an addiction.

Got my 2008 base model 350z at a Carmax for $17,900. 36,250 miles, only two previous owners. One of the previous owners added cruise control and navigation, and changed to black leather seats. I was happy to pay the price, not so happy to get screwed on the interest rate, but I needed a car regardless, so it was worth it to get my dream car (loved the Z series ever since I bought my 1987 300zx).
