Question Are these standard?

Well, my long wait is almost over. I was told that I should get me Z by the end of next week.

Because this car in not released in South Africa yet, no one can answer my questions. (By the way, I will be one of 120 very lucky owners to own one in South Africa.)

1: Do the car come with a type of pollen filter?
2: Do the car come with proper high quality carpets?

Thanks for your guys response in advance.

Well the Z sure is becoming a world car now. Congrats.

Here is the US there is no pollen filter. The carpet is your standard grade stuff, nothing special like M-B or Jag. Mats are optional.

Pollen filter? I thought our cars came with an interior air filtration system? Is there a difference between that and pollen filter?

Well, an "air filter system" sounds cool. But I am not to sure about that fact.

It is very hard to believe that the Z, which is a very expensive car, do not have proper mats!

Thanks for the reponse.

those are a dealer add-on option for the car. most cars in that range come with mats as an option. though your hard pressed to find one that doesnt have them ordered with it; or at very least thrown in for free.

also for the back

Thanks!

I have e-mail these links to my dealer - hopefully he can find a way to order it for me.

I just got the bad news; My Z will only be ready end of next week!

I cannot deal with this waiting thing anymore. It is going to kill me.

Sharp, your dealer should have the mats in stock or be able to order them from the factory, with a short delivery time - air mail.

Yes thanks. They are getting them from Japan. Hopefully they will be here before I take delivery of my new baby.

And the nice thing is: They are paying for it!

Sharp - how's everything going in South Africa? How's the political scene over there these days regarding race?

Well I could talk on the issue for hours, but a very short summery:

Race issues: I would say that the people here has accepted one another. The big problem currently is crime. Hundreds of people get killed, hi-jacked and so on, on a daily basis. Unfortunately our government is not doing anything about it. That sucks.

But otherwise I am very happy here. The standard of living we have is 10 times above the UK and the States. I know this, because most (99%) of my friends has moved to the UK, or the States...

Back to cars:
I had an Audi TT 225 quattro, but Nissan wanted the car last year for a trade in. So they gave me a Nissan Almera 1.8 to drive with. It is the slowest 1.8 liter on the road, but the drive, built quality is just fine. And there are no rattles!
