Feel sorry for ya man, i agree with the rest of them. Bound to be someone from school, i got one of the better cars at my school (no Z yet) and i'm nervous as hell about someone doing something, last day of school last year i had my hockey stick in the back seat incase someone thought they were clever.

Hopefully you catch who it was and teach them a little manners.

Just a note, if you're ever thinking of going FI, the Viper comes with (most do) a built in turbo timer

Thief's are one thing i cant STAND. They do it because they dont know what its like to bust your *** for something you love and cherish. I have a dachshund that sleeps in the kitchen who constantly keeps an eye and ear out for anything outside. He wakes everyone up if someone even TIP TOES in the yard. Its great to have a good dog. And keeping a .45 in your bedroom never hurts. If they took the radar from somewhere like that. I'd say you know them. Maybe not a close friend but someone that has been in your car.

The type of neighborhood doesn't matter cause the thieves go to "better" neighborhoods to shop. Sad but true...

This is why I feel nervous whenever I park the car overnight. You just never know. GL w repair and don't give them thieves any more reason to break in to your car (etc. valuable stuff)

You can get a motion detector installed too. It doesn't have to make your alarm go off but he you have the viper alarm. It'll tell you when someones in a range. For example if they spend 3 seconds or so peering into your window. Or bust glass or any type of suspicious motion it guaranteed to notify you. And not expensive too

i got this fake radio cover on ebay after my car was broken in back in the East Coast and they took my radio.

**NOT MY CAR BTW** But i got the exact same cover on ebay for less than $20. Couldn't find them on ebay. I used them every time i parked outside overnight, in an unknown neighborhood or shady area. Well worth it.

Edit: Found it on ebay. Link

I removed the suction cup and just let it sit on top on my screen. It stick out a lot if look from the outside but what dumb thief knows the difference between a factory and aftermarket one... Its a great deterrence IMO.

You are better off without that, just think if the thief went into your car and you fooled them with a dummy radio in it. They are going to be disappointed, they'll probaly get heated and start destroying your Z on the inside.
