Why is liquid aluminum so expensive?

Its to sucker people into paying what Nissan lost (profit wise) in making, producing, and selling the brickyard color with no mark up.
I look at the paint and still cant believe they made such an nice color.

I like the color... its different and it seems a lot lighter than the Silverstone and chrome silver. But other then that... the color is just +1 more silver in the 350Z color palette . As if two wasnt enough

Its all personal preference. If I didnt get Liquid Aluminum, I definitely would have got Super Black.
If I had to pay MSRP, i doubt I would have ordered this color. Since I was able to get my car below invoice, my total cost was probably still well below what most ppl paid for a comparably equipped touring model. Im happy with my choice, to each his own!

I would most def would pay 1100 dollars for LA, it's limited that car is going to be a classic I mean do not get me wrong the Brick yard is Phat but LA c'mon u have to wear oakley shades just to look at it in daylight...(BLING)I myself have a sivlerstone I almost bought the LA touring, man it was nice the Nissan emblem on the headrest and all but it had a ding on the trunk and the dealer wanted me to comeback to fix it, nah I wasn't with it so I got the SS instead, enthus even though I love my ride and all the $$ I put into it I have a little regret about the LA, oh yeah for the record if I would of purchased the LA I problably would of regreted not getting a roadster it was only a couple grand more
