900 miles, getting close
to the break-in point. Its been tough but I'm hanging in there. All the rattles and noise thats been posted, I haven't heard a peep. The car is solid. The only noise I hear are my golf clubs. This old man couldn't be happier.
I know what the manual says but you can accelerate little harder now, and shift little harder/faster now...900miles breakin is usually more than what other mfg. recommended. mine is at 700miles right now, and I have been driving it a little harder, so the car can get used to what it's made for
at this point you should "inch" your way to the top. Then redline the car once to seat rings properly. Repeat this cycle periodically. This is what I have interpreted from raceboy (correct me if Im wrong) and he has experience with doing it right.
