Default I'm thinking of selling the Z

I currently own the Z and a V6 Accord for bad weather days (i.e. snow), but I'm beginning to feel that it's rather moronic to have two vehicles like this. In addition, I'm relatively young so my insurance is quite high. These aren issues I obviously considered before I bought the car (about this time last year), but now I'm feeling moronic for spending so much each month on cars.

Anyway. Has anyone had any success in selling their Zs? I presume those who sell them probably still don't frequent here, but I just want to consider my options. It's an '03 Performance DB 6MT with 7k miles, and I was thinking of just asking $28500 for it. I'm still not entirely decided if I'm going to do so, but it's just a thought.

Thanks guys.

That doesn't sound promising My figure was probably high, so I'll definitely need to look into it more. I might go as low as about $26k, but I couldn't go much lower than that.

Or, I might just keep it, sell the Honda, and get some snow tires for the Z.

or you could sell the V6 accord and get a beater car for $hitty weather. Like something that costs between 4-8K. Thats what I would do. What year is your V6 accord?

Also you could set up your insurance so that your accord or what ever is your primary vehicle and your Z as your secondary vehicle. All that means on paper is that you do not drive the Z 12 months a year so your rate is lowered most insurance companies will do this.

Thanks for all the feedback folks.

I believe I'm going to list both my Honda and the Z. I'll keep whichever does not sell first and then find out what I'm going to do.

It's really quite amazing how quickly your priorities can change. It's not an issue of affording the cars at all, but after a project at work stressed me out to the point of wishing I had no financial obligations I have decided to cut way back on material things. I didn't like thinking I *had* to work, as absurd as that might sound.

Thanks again guys.

you should decide which you enjoy driving the most! I figure you like driving the z, so keep it, sell the accord, bank the money off that and you won't be so stressed out at work! besides, if you want another car trade yours in. i am sure you would get a good price as soon as spring hits! I purchased a QX4 last year and I am regretting doing it. In MD we get maybe two storms a year. And I know if I pick the phone up, my friend will give me a lift!
