As Kerry would say "bring it on". We got room and would enjoy seeing your Z there.

We got about 30 cars participating thus far. I am booking a hotel room the night before (Mar 4th) at the Desert Inn. It is close by and reasonable. I plan on being there and going to dinner at 6pm. Anyone up for meeting for dinner? If so, let me know.

Here is the link: http://www.desert-inn.com/.

Just a FYI, if any of you guys need to buy a helmet (motorcycle type) I have lines to Arai, Suomy, Shoei, etc. and can get them at a pretty good discount. PM if you are interested to get one.

Well, what Greg considers 50% is what I considered pushing the limits of my car up to this point! Honestly, I had never pushed my car in braking and cornering to a level that bordered on the edge of what I perceived was its limits. Greg was telling me the truth, he was driving it at about 50% but it felt like 100% to me at that point. I never realized the true ability this car had to rapidly brake and corner hard. For the first time, I truly realized how much of a performance car was and this was just a warm up lap at 50%!

Z Land I agree with you and I know exactly what you're saying. I had an incridible experience at VIR (Virginia International Raceway) this past weekend. The Z is an exceptional sport car. The only way to truely appreciate the car is to do some high performance driving on a race track. I experienced this first hand and it was the best time of my life. I have so much more respect for my Z now then I did a week ago. The car is so well balanced, communicates to you extremely well and forgives you everytime you make a mistake. This car was built for the race track ladies and gentlemen. Do not modify your car until you experience its limits on a race track. Nissan did an incredible job putting this this Z together and knowing how to really treat a sports car driver. picture attached is me and my instructor during my first day third session of 30 minutes.

Enjoy

If you look closely at the far right (my friend STI) and at the top (WRX) were trying to keep up but was eventually outcornered by the Z

positioned the Z to the far right to attact the slowest turn on the track then modulating the throttle enough to rotate the Z smoothly around the turn. I don;t have a picture of the car going into the turn

Hi Jeff, I was wondering, I signed up for the event but did not receive a conformation from anyone. Is this considered normal?

Default Stay at the Park Plaza in Lancaster

I can't make it on March 5, but am sorry to miss the event. Let me give you some hotel advice. That flea bag that Greg Vogel recommends is awful. It is $39 for the night, and I saw a roach in my room.

Stay at the Park Plaza in Lancaster. It is $60 if you tell them you are going to Willow Springs. Much nicer. Free full breakfast on weekday mornings, big comfortable room, etc. etc. It is worth the extra $20+.
