Default Carnage in the Rain at Streets of Willow

If it rains on March 5, please be careful. Here are some pics from Feb.20 at Streets of Willow, where it started raining around 11:00 a.m. through the end of the day.

The March 5th will have a rule of not being allowed to pass unless you are the front straightaway and then only if they guy in front waves you to pass him. My experience was in the last event Carlos put together, everyone stayed away from each other thus not endangering each other and their cars. We all want to enjoy driving our cars to their limits but not beyonf their limits or damaging others cars.

PS: Cheston, i hope you are there. You can jump in my car if you need some Z track time...

It wasn't the passing rules, it was the rain. Passing was allowed only on the front and back straights. None of the accidents had anything to do with passing. Cars were spinning right and left. If it stays dry on March 5 I'm sure everything will be fine. If the track is wet, watch out. Better yet, go home.

Weather.com's predictions for next week
Fri Mar 05 Mostly Sunny 63° HI/36° LO 10 % chance of rain

streets is really fun- its a big auto-X course.. the only real hard part is a wide sweeper 180° turn near the pit lane, where alot of people over cook it, which depending on rotation of the course, might put you into the pit wall..
i've seen first hand of what it can do to an S2000... not cool-

just make sure your tires are warmed up before you try to do hard driving- its typically cold up here in the high desert-.. ambient temps normally during the day is only 50-60.. doesnt really warm up until April or May...

With the weather forcast and the line up we got already, it looks like a fun day at the track. Lots of Z's and some other cars that will bring some flavor to the event.
