It's preference... But I prefer the coupe Becuase it has better body lines... Z roadster loses the hatchback body style, which to me is ugly.

Really enjoy 08 Touring Roadster. Cabin noise with the top up is more than quiet as if you are in a coupe. I'm a big golfer so if trunk size is an issue like it is for me your clubs will not fit. Your headed to the course with your clubs in the passenger seat and your buddy following you. Almost didn't buy the Roadster for this reason. On the flip side the Roadster rocks on a great day with the top down, that's the sacrifice I made. Good luck and enjoy your Z.

Heavier so therefore physics says slower.

But honestly, that should not be a consideration. Buy a ‘vert if you like open air motoring, Coupe if you don’t.

Used to say I’d never own a convertible. Have two, have had four, standard car at home in Maui.... Vert (unless we need to chauffeur others)

It's about a 400 lb weight difference with the obvious fact the roadster doesn't have a roof for added structural support, but that was compensated elsewhere. Unless you're a professional driver, I doubt you're going to be able to tell a discernible difference.
