I reset the MPG counter every time I fill, I calc off that. It's within .2 MPG. It even works for track days.

So the mpg counter is accurate, just not the trip computer measuring how many miles you have left according to how much gas you have in?

KMA. This thread was hijacked a long time ago and degraded into yet another worthless discussion of short term mileage based on the trip computer. Title of the thread be damned.
