Default Thoughts on a part out/fixing tranny problem

Well I have never parted out a car before. I don't even know of it'd be worth it so i'd like some input. I haven't had this car for too long and all was good until the other day... Infamous 2003 bad synchros that I learned of AFTER buying. Yes i know i made a mistake not doing enough research on these cars before buying. I usually do I dont know what i was thinking. Anyways i have a few questions... here is my car
http://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/cto/3282244801.html

Would parting this car out be worth it?
Would selling as a whole be better?
How is my price?
Or just replace trans then sell? or maybe keep.
Just looking for some feedback
Btw all parts have 20k or less miles on them.

sell it as is and mention to buyers that it is a common problem with the 03s. you shouldn't take that big of a loss i wouldn't think.

From what i've read udgrading to the Cd009 is a safer route then just trying to replace the synchros, but im still unsure of what to do

It comes down to whether or not you love/want to keep the car. If you want it, go ahead and replace the transmission. The CD009 is the recommended route, but if you happen to find a good deal on the 03-04 tranny used, I'll go ahead and let you know my 03 has almost 90k and not a single issue with the stock clutch or transmission, and I saw a guy at the dealer last month with an 03 that just hit 170k - he was on his OEM transmission too. Food for thought.

I'm at 98k on original tranny. Only thing replaced were the clutch cylinders that failed while driving and left me stuck on the side of the road. Other than that, the 03's don't have too much downsides to them.

........who am i kidding, my car is full of problems.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, there was a used transmission on here, 04 i think, good price and local, no reply from the guy, but I'm also afraid that it may have problems and theres no way for me to tell until i put it in the car... I found this website with used 05 transmissions... Says it comes with a warranty. And the thing is that while I do like the car I think I'm going to sell it one way or another
