first off.. removing the stock shift **** was freagin hard!! crap is glued on there like no tomorrow. I tried to be careful as I can but I ended up marring the stock **** pretty bad... oh well
its not goin back on there anyways
Got this as a christmas present... I would have installed it earlier but i gave up a couple times removing the stock ****. I'm happy with the swap.. throws feel a bit shorter and feels good. Definitely gonna put a hat over it during the summer... OUCH!!

How is the heat on the momo now that its getting warmer? I am shopping around for a shift **** and came across your post. The pics of this look nice but my only concern was that shift boot not staying up in place and looking bad. Some folks who got the Nismo GT ***** had this problem. Is it an issue with the momo? I like the regular nismo titanium but $120?!?! WTF! Thats a lot!

shift boot seems ok.. doesn't look too bad.
the only thing is that when its cold out, and park your car for a couple hours (poker nights or whatever)... the **** gets cold. not ice cold, but just cold. also, fingerprints and smudges!! I have a small hand towel i use to wipe everytime i start the car in the morning.
If it's like the Nismo chrome aluminum ****, be careful 'cause that badboy get HOT!
I use old (soft cotton) clothing pieces that I don't wear anymore to clean off the dust on the inside of my car, and I was lucky one day to have an old sock (yes, clean, had a hole in it) to put over the shift **** so I could drive home from school. Without it, I don't know what I could've done (yes, it was THAT hot).

Thanks for the info guys! The reason I was looking at the titanium was also because it should not conduct the heat as much as the chrome ones. I also like the matte finish as opposed to the bling chrome. Anyone know the size of the regular nismo ***** compared to this momo one? They look similar in pics but can't tell for sure.
