So the big day is tomorrow.
I have taken it upon myself to remove some items from the Z to avoid the shop taping things off. I removed the antenna assembly, rear wiper assembly, Z fender emblems, head/tail lights will be removed tomorrow, bumper reflectors, Fairlady Z emblem (new one was ordered) and the mud flaps were cleaned and removed so they can be sprayed too.
I will leave the door trim and door handles for them to do. If I had access to my friends truck and trailer I would have done a complete disassembly of the exterior but I trust the shop to do a good job.
I will also be asking them about different pearl options as well.

Dropped the Z off!
They are taking her apart completely, sanding the keyed sections down to metal, bring the surface up smooth then use a corrosion protection, 2K primer, block it, base coat (white), pearl coat, 2 clear coats, wet sand then cut and buff. I was told she will look better than the day Nissan painted her. I'm excited but it's going to take 2-3 weeks...
I decided just to have them do the regular PPW instead of a different pearl.
Also if this shop does a good job I will have found the place to paint my V2 NISMO bumper (already have), NISMO sides (need to buy) and 06+ hood painted (want to find used).

Lots of Haters and Envy in the world. I'm glad your Insurance is taking care of the repairs. Had haters do things like this to my Vette in the 70s. It's what happens sometimes for having something nice. I keep a savings account just for repairs and any attacks on my 350Z that I own now. Makes me feel better knowing Karma will come back and kick who did this back in the a$$. What goes around comes around.

You might want to invest in night lighting and security cams and signs at home to watch over your Z. Most important thing is don't let hater's stop you from having fun and things you like to have fun with.
