So it's come to my realization while preparing to get my car ready for storage that the next time I take her out (trying to hold back tears) my baby will be 10 years old... Where has the time gone. Granted I picked mine up in 05, but feel like the original owner cause the orig owner was a friend of mine and I got to see it all the time/ride and drive it.
It's only a car! I have a Porsche I've owned for 14 years, but then again, I only drive it less than 500 miles a year. Oh yeah, it's 1 of 3 ever built, and the last one remaining. The Z is a toy, no collectable value based on the number built.

Any car is just a car, it's the personal value (not talking dollars and cents or production numbers or rarity) of any car that makes it special to that person.
I live in Southern MN, and its getting about 39 degrees at night now. Pretty cold I must say. I hate putting mine away for the winter as well. But that's when the projects begin!!
Owning my Z since 2002( November 2002) when it first came out. I pre-ordered it and waited 10 months for it. I still have the Z and it only has 26k miles on the odometer 6 months of Winter in Buffalo New York sux azz. Can only drive for like 3 or 4 months in the Summer.

Real automotive enthusiasts don't base how valuable a car is by something like "collectible value based on the number built".
GTFO and go go back to your private yacht douchebag.

And no Z is as worthless as you make it sound. If you really feel this way, please get out of the Z community. It's not "only a car" around here.
