You can mount all belts with the vortech mounted. I used to remove the cog belt with the bracket on as well as the main drive and ac belts.
I used the links in the DIY. I can assure you it is impossible, I have a rev up and it is different from the regular DE I suppose.

Called Vortech today, somehow my car has the wrong pulley. It's a 3.33 on there, it's supposed to be a 3.12. I don't know how I got the wrong pulley.

Too bad with the headaches, oil leak. I had an oil leak before, took it to ZCarGarage and fixed. Never had a problem since. Vortech works great, also was upgraded by ZCarGarage (ZCargarage.com), which does all Z's, G'z, GTR's etc. Shop has 370Z and GTR and runs on the track. Has 491hp, no problems at all. I was also pretty stressed out when I had a oil leak problem, but Rob really took care of it for me. I was same though, bought stock and then $$$$$$ later, a whole different feeling. Love it.

Well I changed the seals and no more leaks but now it's running rich like crazy. Cleaned the MAF, no difference. Car is in the shop right now, just waiting on prognosis. The drive there sucked so much ***, the shop is about an hour and a half away and I had a headache by the time I got there because my car smelled like a lawnmower. At least if I get it retuned it'll only be 450.

I'm not trying to troll but just from my point of view it sounds like the root of the problems is you're either not very good at DIY or you're forgetting things often when doing them. Either way I hate you're not sure of stinking with the 350z. Hate to lose another Z person in the community.

Is your car FI? A reputable shop did the install and tune, it ran fine for a year a half of daily driving. About 15k miles and the blower leaked oil. Not sure if you have ever done any modifications to your car personally but the engine bay is not fun to deal with. There's a reason shops take out the engine to do supercharger and turbo installs. Do you have a compressor? Impact gun? A 3 jaw pulley removal tool? Offset wrenches? No? Goodluck doing what I did than. I'm just going turn this car into a weekend car and get older WRX or something similar as a DD.

Hey, like I said, I'm not trying to troll you. I have installed a few things on my car- coilovers, brake rotors, pads, SS lines, fluid, sway bars, camber arms and toe arms, exhaust. I do have an air compressor, impact gun, welder- steel and aluminum, saws all, offset wrenches and and a million other air tools at my disposal though, lol. Not hit the FI yet, although I'm extremely close to it. Got the cash to liquidate but I'm struggling to light the match and watch it burn. I'll cave by early next year though when I've built enough of a cushion to feel ok about liquidating $17k of my savings.

Glad you're sticking with us though man. Z car people gotta stick together.

Yeah, the Z isn't my DD anymore. As of now I'm trying to get it to be more of a garage queen. Seeing if I can get it to hold it's value, and to stay in good condition.

I am actually considering, but it is already getting retuned right now. Since I put on the correct 3.12 pulley that is supposed to come with the rev up engine I got 2 more pounds of boost, that should quite a bit more hp. I'll get the results tomorrow and just park it for a while.

It is quite a bit lighter, not really sure by how much however. I only use one hatch shock and it holds it up no problem.
