Before I got the Z I was reading the forums, including the "The dumbest question you've been asked about your car?" and it seems like a LOT of those are related to Turbos/FI. Apparently everyone thinks they come TT stock.

I was meeting an old friend for lunch and he did exactly what I thought I would never myself encounter.
I make comment about FI in the future.
Those are TT stock right?

Yeah man, it's got 4 turbos and 2 superchargers. It's also a rearmount engine, provides for excellent turning. Great track car, you should buy one.


My general reply when everyone asks what kind of car it is, "Oh, it's a GT-R, have you never heard of them before? They put out around 800HP from the factory."

 

As others have said, because the previous Z platform, Z32, came with a twin turbo option. That, or the kiddos think that since the GT-R is a TT that the Z is as well.

this is just a dumb thread hahaha. sorry to say that but come on did you really need to ask why people who are not familiar with the 350z think this car comes turbo stock? like is this really information that you are looking for and is it that outrageous to you that they think it comes TT stock?...smh.

Stock, the 350Z has faster 0-60 and quarter miles times than the 300ZX Twin Turbo.
