Didn't know how to drive stick at the time so I had to get my dad to drive it home, then we went to a big parking lot later that day so I could start learning.

i recall never having test driven the car before i bought it.. the Z was at that time part of getting my life back together lol. I had a revoked license for some other stuff.. so i bought it new in 05, it took a few weeks to get everything straightened out and get legal again, and then i grabbed it up when the car was ready for delivery. Put 15k miles on the car the first year.. alot of cruising.

drove to autoclun speedway to check out a Redline Time Attack event, thought they were all crazy for tracking their cars, met a few people i still talk to today. Drove it home to Vegas, changed the oil. Did my first autocross with it in the morning.

^^ Terrasmak ... I didnt know you lived in Vegas.. Why is there no Las Vegas Group??
My first day with my Z... Well I took it to my cousin's shop to make sure it was in good shape. I took the stupid dealer's license plate frame and stickers off the car. I took my lady to the lake for a date.

I bought my Z in Jersey the same day my buddy bought his RSX type S. That night, back in upstate NY, we went on a 100 mile cruise around the area.

Just as a few of you, I bought my 2003 Z having very little experience with a manual. Surprisingly, I found this car very easy and fun to drive. It was not only MY first manual, but also my first RWD car. Having been used to under-powered cars, and driving slow ambulances at my job, the heavy foot I developed due to that did not mix well with a car having 934903480104381 times more power than I was used to, haha. After I brought the car home to change into my uniform, drove my whole 1 mile commute to work, and couldn't wait to drive home (and elsewhere). I've had the Z for nearly a year now...I'm in love with the car, but I'm considering continuing my hunt for an Evo (the car I originally wanted), or trading it in for a lower mileage HR model.

Drove all day, took the long windy way home from the dealership. Then stared at it, wanting to drive it more.

Bought it as a birthday gift
Didn't have a choice as it was to be my daily driver
Picked it up after the cheque cleared, and drive it back - I had driven manuals most of my life but the funky gear shifting, insane clutching requirements meant a circumspect ride back home. Went for a photoshoot after coming home and drove to a park to get some sunset shots.
Aahh simpler times!

Got it in the afternoon, took a bunch of pictures. Later in the evening that day I drove around the city in random areas. I even fell asleep in one of the parking lots @3am. Got home during sunrise.

I went to my first track day a couple of weeks after that.

The first day I got my Z, I took it to buffalo wild wings where my friends n I go to just hang out and as I was trying to find a parking space there was a golf gt in front of me reving his engine thinking he was bad ***, but when he did that all I heard from the people on the sidewalk was "Dang! Look at the Nissan!!! That's clean!!"
All I have on it is a magnaflow cat back exhaust and a K&N Typhoon intake and some rims lol

It was the exact same thing for me! I bought it when I had a suspended license, put it in my garage, went straight to the orange county traffic court, paid off my long overdue ticket, immediately got insurance for it on the way home, then stopped at the DMV and put it in my name!
Im 20 years old, and this is the only car I've ever had in my name! I'm doin it right with this one!

I closed the deal at around 8 P.M on a Thursday night. I remember I was scared shitless because I was scared to stall and the clutch was so different comapred to my previous Miata. I also had no idea if I was in gear or not since it was such a short shift. I drove it around town with a smile on my face and it was a great night. Too bad the car only lasted me 2 years before it started burning oil

Finished the paperwork on my lunch break during my 12h shift day. Pulled it into my spare bay at work and just stared at it. Then, tried to take off the 20s but the car was missing a wheel key.

I thought my dad was going to flip when I got home, but he about knocked me off the front porch wanting to drive it.

I bought the car off a good friend of mine, (I sold him my 1993 300zx the day prior) took it to the car wash, and then sat outside his apartment drinking, eating wings, and talking about the mod future for both of our Z's...it was a great day/night.

On my first day with the Z, I took it back to the dealership to get a dead TPMS replaced.
