Just wanted to say welcome! Your money, your Z...mod it as you please. Just remember alot of opinions/advice on here are all with the best intentions (most of the time) ha...

My .02, not digging the tails or the plastidip badges...why not just debadge? Leave the nissan burger...it'd look cleaner imo. I think your car looks the best in the 2nd picture you posted...

+1 on bumper tuck. Replica or not...the style of that exhaust is great, show it off a bit more...

I don't know why everyone gives the advice that drop springs ride better than inexpensive coilovers. I had s tech's before I switched to Tanabe Sustec S-0C and the Tanabe's provide a much better ride. If you buy a set of inexpensive coilovers from a reputable company (tein, tanabe) you can get a good riding coilover, it just won't have all the adjustability you get with higher end models.

Neither the low end tanabe or tein's will slam the car it thats what you are looking for.

I can tell you right now, because it's Tein. Horrible springs.

the plastidipped badges was more of a feeler thing to see if I liked them black. I have already removed it on the rear badges, and when I get a different bumper (probably 06), I will buy a black badge for the front bumper because imo it looks good black on the front bumper. I will also probably be buying 06 tails and not tinting them. And I will be debadging the "350z" logo soon. Also will be doing the bumper tuck mod as well. The little cheap things like debadging and bumper tucking will happen once winter break is here.

eeh i really couldn't afford an HR, I really didn't wanna have to get out loan. And I was gonna get an 06 until I researched them and to my knowledge they have oil consumption problems and transmission problems. So I went with the lower mileage 05.

I have my coilovers and I should probably be able to get around to putting them on this weekend. My fenders were professionally rolled about a week or so ago. Next on my list is SPC rear camber arms then wheels. One last picture with the mild s tech drop.

hmmmmm...

It's your money, but I think you will be happier in the long run if you buy fewer high quality parts. Quality over quantity, in my book. I'm sure you're exhaust is fine for now, but I'd be concerned for the longevity of an imitation part.

Resist the urge to act too young and want to do too many things to your car. Subtle cars are beautiful, since these cars came beautiful from the factory.

Either way, you're not doing too bad for the moment. I think most of the negative comments are maybe trying to keep you from getting out of control with inexpensive mods.

Also, welcome fellow St. Louis area member. What part of STL are you from?

Why is everyone flaming him? He shouldn't have to constantly defend himself. I understand if you're worried about possible damage to the call with bad quality products, which some of these may or may not be (i don't really know), but he chose to do these things for himself. Great car though man

^thanks!

D2 coilovers installed. Not quite the lowest setting, I could go about another half inch or so, but I should be getting front control arms and rear camber arms and toe bolts in the near future. Anyways, here's the drop.

You need some wheel spacers now. ConceptZPerformance will hook you up quick.

^ +1 on the spacers.
Also you might get those camber arms sooner( kinetix), rather than later. That camber looks like a hungry one.

Reminds me of Grandma's Boy scene. "My roommates are gonna get me rims for Christmas."

Nice. I live in Godfrey, and I'm an Alton cop. Hit me up if you're ever in town for a river road cruise.
