Yup - running too rich. O2 sensor, head temperature sensor, etc. could be bad.

the rotten eggs is related to the breakin process of a new cat, and is completely normal.

Id bring it to the dealer quickly for the other problems.

Wait a minute...I thought you had a suspended license.

What are you doing idling your car? Just turning on the ignition and sitting in it?

well from forums i read before in this site, it can be 2 reasons that i know.

one is that your car is fairly new and the exhaust is setting in, which causes fume smell, something between gas/exhaust smell.

another could be your air filter is growing some kind of midew which causes odd fungus smell.

if its the second reason you should check/replace filter at the dealers.

Have you been to the grocery store or ran over a plastic bag? Sounds like you have a bag melted to your exhuast.

You also need one as an ID before they put you in jail.

Jake,

Good thing you are in MA. If you were here, and I saw you, I would seriously have to think about running you off the road. If you are suspended, stay HOME! You have no insurnace if you are suspended. If you hit someone, you would be placed in jail (and I do not mean short term). If you killed someone, some states would hit you with manslaughter/murder and not involuntary manslaughter because you knowingly drove on a suspended license. The difference is 2-5 years vs. 10-25 or even life.

I know I may sound harsh, which is not in my character, but it is because of ******** like this that I have to pay an extra $150 a year for uninsured driver insurance.

I think the forum should give you the collective finger. Here, I will start ,,|,,

COMPLETELY OUT OF LINE. Who the hell are you to point fingers at this kid. This thread went from a question asked about how come his car smells funny, to flaming.
