^ This. I bought a 2005 35th Anniversary Z and I LOVE it. Bought it when it had around 31k miles, and now it has 38k. I had the engine replaced under warranty and since then it hasnt consumed any oil, but I always check my oil when I'm pumping gas just to be sure.
lolz......seriously dood. Go read the damn owners manual. You check your oil every time you fill up . You do realize all the oil is being thrown around and all up the dipstick. Oil in in the system and passages and needs to drain down to the oil pan for at least couple hours before you check. I 100% guarantee you the oil will be all over the dipstick if you check when you are gassing since you have been driving it. Best to check on a 100% level surface and overnight. That is an accurate reading and everything else is 100% FALSE and waste of time. keep checking that oil every time you gas and don't bother with tire pressure while gassing.

Actually, it is a good idea to check your oil every time you fill the tank. The reading is reasonably accurate and you can certainly tell if your oil is getting low. In the long ago days when service station attendants filled your car for you, checking oil was one of the things they always did.
