Default 2003 350z build

Hey guys started working on my z this winter. I've never done a build thread with my cars before, I'm gonna try and keep it updated

It's a black 2003 enthusiast, 6 speed, lowered 1" on 19"s, 2.5 cat back with carbon fiber Meegan mufflers, front bumper and rocker panels replaced (can anyone tell me which bumper I have v2 maybe?)

A few problems

Needs a tranny rebuild
A lot of road rash/misc paint defects
Rear cv needs replacing
Missing belly pan/front inner fenders
Stock hid headlights are foggy(looking for mod suggestions)
Needs fiberglass work

Let me know what you guys think so far.

Right now I'm looking at transmission rebuilding options, has any one purchased a kit and had good luck with it?

aerosync front bumper and goodluck, your best bet for a tranny is upgrading to a CD009 tranny, alot less problems than the earlier trannys

Thanks for the id. If I can get another 80000 out of some new syncros that's fine with me. Still not advisable to rebuild?

You can easily get rid of the foggy stock HID lights with this stuff called blue magic headlight lens restorer. Use it about 2-3 times every time you wash the car or as needed and it should be clear like the day it came from the factory. It worked great on mine and it beats having to buy new headlights when you can just spend 5 bucks to get your old ones looking fresh and new.

They're also cracked, I'll likely pirate some lenses from some cheap halogens. I'd like to mod the headlights with some bigger lenses I'm still working it out

Im deleting the rear wiper, antennae, all badges and am currently welding the holes up from the old spoiler

vendor/private classifieds

or https://my350z.com/forum/regions-25/

find your region, and meet people locally for parts...
