am I wrong for not wanting to do anything to my zr? I never thought about mods and all these other million things you can do to this car when I bought it.
People ask me questions about my car all time and I never have an answer smh

Maybe its me?But,why did you join the forum?
The average owner in the community is interested in...ah,ah---personalizing
his Z.The focus may differ.Performance, looks, even changing the sound system.
The Z is a great car for those that just don't the status quo.
Bottom line,we like to screw around with our cars.
On the other hand,a completely stock Z is a thing of beauty.
More power to you!

I would keep it stock if you're not that interested in modding it. Seems like you want to do it now for the wrong reasons. If you decide that it is something that you want to do, make use of the forum's thousands of threads to read about what things are in your price range, what things you can do yourself, and what will give you the best bang for performance and cosmetic wise.

I have quite the opposite problem. I [plan to spend money on car parts before I even have a chance to spend it on other stuff.
It's all about what your passion is, and if it's with a stock z that's great. You'll be able to own other things that some of us may not have

Stock for the win when it comes to a car like this. My old Mustang had parts on the way the day after I bought it. Hell, I advanced the timing on the distributor a few degrees right before pulling it out of the PO's driveway haha. Personally, modding this car is worth farrrr less than the money it costs to do so. Bang for buck just doesn't seem to exist on these things IMO! Enjoy the car, everyone has an opinion of their own

i mod it because that my hobby. otherwise i would just play games all day and be on the internet.

Enjoy the forum, do what you want to do with your car. That's the way to enjoy it, after all you will always be the one to say "it's mine" and you will be the one to enjoy it no matter if stock or modded. I bought mine and kept it stock for a few years minus a couple minus things like the Nismo Headers and Nismo Catback exhaust, since the Nissan Dealership said and did not void the warranty. Then when the vortech S/C/ became legal in CA., I did some modding. I like it both ways. It's all what you like for your cruising. Now enjoy your Z and have fun!
