$52K before TTL fully loaded. The only truck I could go to after a Z. Rides like a luxury car. Off-road it's a beast. Test drive one and you will buy it!

The Z is way more "precise" and you can just tell after driving the two. Also 0-60 is fast in the vette, but for driving around town it just isnt as fun as a Z IMHO. You floor it then your at 60 and your way over the speed limit already by the time you wanna shift.

But the c6 corvette is an amazing machine and is much more solid than the c5
You clearly didn't drive a c5 z06 haha. This vette is much snappier than any z I've ever been in. Also the interior, while it looks a bit dated, is ten fold nicer than my z was and I had the touring z. The z06 will easily destroy the z in any aspect, down to who's window will roll up faster. I'm glad you like your z, but to call the vette sloppy compared to the massively understeering 350z is just wrong.
I looked at c6's but honestly like the c5 much more.

It's you're opinion man. I don't judge a car's quailty by how fast the windows roll up. The tremec t56 transmission is nice for the price, but the geometry of the Z's six speed is naturally going to be more precise and tighter. Sure you can mode the shifter on the t56 to get it up to par, but this is honestly an apples to orange comparison. The Z wasn't designed for a quarter mile so it's obviously not up there speed wise. Check out the 370 forums cause there are a lot more guys on there that have upgraded to c6 Z06's and are not terribly happy with their performance.

I agreed that the shifter feel in the z is better. Just nothing else. Plus the 370z is miles ahead of the 350z in everything but looks and sound (in my opinion). Corvettes aren't quarter mile cars either. Anyone who isn't happy with the jump from a z to a z06 performance wise isn't driving the car properly

Oh no, you know you're gonna have nightmares now that you've got rid of the ZED don't you. Dreams of sweet handling, the history of all previous ZED models from the 240 onwards, the creamy torque of the engine. I know the interior plastics in the ZED aren't that great but you're gonna get truly sick of the quality of the cab in that c5. The rims on your ZED were really hot as well. I'll bet within a year you'll have gone back and either got yourself either a 350 or a 370.

Agreed. My uncle has a C5 ZO6, and while it's a beast on speed and fuel consumption, the quality is horrific. That and it burns oil like crazy...And the tractor-like manual. But each has their benefits, and happy to see ya have some fun with another car.

Love the Raptor! I've been looking at those since our current cars don't do Home Depot runs well, lol. Looking at one right now, all black. Really close to pushing the "yes" button!
