My blood now runs through my Z!!!
I gave my 03 performance her first oil change tonight. It was far more of a biatch to accomplish than my 91 tt or previous 84 and 85 300's, with those 20 or so bolts to remove from the plastic cover...
Anyway, as I was struggling to get the filter off using my too-big filter wrench, i slipped and cut my middle knuckle on something. How could I turn this into a true bonding experience with my Z? Well, after getting the filter off and putting the new one on, I went up top, unscrewed the oil cap and d-r-i-p ... one single drop of my blood into her before adding the Mobil1.
I now feel like it's Christine or something... kind of sharing my life force
Just wanted to share... not sure if I'm the first to think of this or not.

ya i cut myself doing my first oil change, didn't drop blood in the engine though.. I had a civic owner tell me once that it adds 20 whp
They def torque that oil filter on at the factory, geez... i need to get a smaller OF wrench for next time, I gotta say the nice thing about that underbody panel, is everything is kept nice and clean from the water spraying around... anyways congrads on the first oil change, did you use Rino's to get the car up? thats what i did, ill never use a jack again to do a oil change, super easy
