Base 350Z or Enthusiast 350Z?
Is the Enthusiast edition worth the extra money in terms of what you're getting compared to the Base Z. If so, what would you base your biggest decesion factor on, in terms of getting the Enthusiast over the base Z?
Thanks guys
Thanks guys
I would go Enth. all the way the HiD light are worth it!!!!!
Also with the Enth. you get Aluminum pedals, traction control (TCS) and LSD (Limited Slip-Differential) its worth it 2 me thats why Im getting enth instead of base now
You might also get cruise control too at the enth level!!!!!!!

I think it has been determined that the Enthusiast is the best valued Z, but it all depends on what you want.
Let me put it this way, if price is a concern (like being slightly over budget for a Enthusiast) wait and save. Don’t buy a base cause that is what you can afford. But since you ask about the Track in another post, I am guessing this is not the case.
If you have the money for the track, it is a good value if you plan on only doing performance upgrades. However if you want aftermarket wheels and can live with or want to upgrade the brakes, the Enthusiast is the way to go. The brakes and the wheels are not worth the money (IMO) unless you have it to burn.
Yes I realize my last paragraph may be contradicting but, most of you who know the car and the trim levels know what I am trying to say. The track is a hell of a deal, but the enthusiast is a little better deal.

I have an 03 Enthusiast and I love it. HIDs, pedals, TCS, LSD, and cruise are worth the extra $2000 over the base model. Not knocking the base, it's still nice, but if you can swing the extra 2K you won't regret it.

for a "race car" the base is the best platform. it needs work though, but also means you'll be replacing less valuable stuff. for real racing you are gonna want wider than track forged rims, bigger than track brakes. and better than track LSD.
since the base doesnt have an LSD at all or premium brakes and rims, your being least wasteful.
if this is a daily driver though, the CC, TCS, HID, and homelink make it all worth while, even if you do end up replacing the LSD.

if your planning on upgrading the LSD then perhaps getting the base is the best and least expensive option without wasting money. Things like HIDs can be purchased for less. Is TC/VDC necessary really needed if your going to mod it and track? Why bother even porsche's New GT3 doesnt have any of that its made to track as well as drive on the street.
It just depends on what you want in the car and what you want to do with it. If you don't plan to mod, a track model might be good deal. If you want to add aftermarket parts maybe a base.
But for the record, its a 350z what ever trim you get it in.
