Sounds as though your focusing on exterior appearance.
The mods you've done thus far are fairly inexpensive.
Since you have the black theme going,I'd suggest a front lip,
side skirts and rear diffuser. These mods would make your Z
appear lower.A rear spoiler wouldbe nice.Look at a Blitz.

Simple isn't always a bad thing...Just keep this in mind, no matter what anyone has to say about your car doesn't matter since it's your car and you're the one that should be happy with it no matter what you decide to do. But I'd just read up off the popular/sticky threads that pretty much cover everything that you'd be looking into at this point.

Car looks clean, black on blue never fails. Look forward to see how it progresses.

Maybe at a later date, you might consider headers, which would compliment the exhaust and intake. More in and more out. Also nice sound of course.
Right now a lip would be a good next project and then maybe work your way into side skirts and rear spoiler, not necessarily in that order.
Check out Dave's Post #2 and take your time and make it your way. Then enjoy each mod you each time.

IF you do lip, do the entire car, just the front lip by itself looks stupid imo. Also dont bother with headers if you plan on going forced induction.

I would honestly remove the paint from your taillights and stock wheels, add a shorty antenna, then save up for aftermarket wheels and springs

Agree. I'm not a fan of the blacked out lights, but that's just my opinion. I believe some easy appearance modifications would be the lip kit route as mentioned above. Good luck and enjoy!

The long road to rice begins with just a single step. Be careful along the way.

I actually prefer the original silver handle, and I think blacking out the original Z emblem on the fender looks worse. Try to keep it classy, not like you ran to the local paint store and just started spraying random stuff.

Tinted tails on a Z never really sat right with me either. Same with the reverse lamps. I would get them back to stock red / white. The contrast looks good. Honestly if it was my car, I would just tint the windows, get some nice wheels, drop it and call it good.
