Def need to. I hate hearing deep low tone sounds of some cars, or the whiny ones, just reminds me of a fart can on a honda....

For the performance! Duh! I'm the type of person that doesn't like to shout and be incognito, which shows up in my car. I do have a cold air intake and a catback exhaust but they aren't much louder than stock and they have about the same horsepower gains as someone who has a loud fart cannon. I like when my car is loud when I want it to be (for example if my car is at wide open throttle). But other than that, I want it quiet and purring like a kitten like when it came from the factory.
