Default Bad scracth :(

so my dad scratched my car on accident with sheet metal along the rear fender bubble and im not letting him pay for it, our premium is gonna be around the cost to fix it, and i have the money but cant really afford to spend the money on a paint job. i know its ricey so i want everyones help on making a coverup because its starting to bug me. my plan is to plasti-dip a good looking line to hide the scratch. please dont flame instead try giving advice
rough draft:

i know its hideous which is why i need everyones guidance. please no "fix it" or whatever, just a possible design or a different method to cover it up.

this is where the scratch is located and i know it sounds like a rice thread and i know plastidip is rice but im just trying to fix the scratch with little money and the car looking somewhat better please no sarcasm my cars body is bone stock and i recently replaced the bumper because of all the chips and the stupid cf air duct so i dont like to rice out my car but the bumper ran me a pretty penny and i dont want to keep spending money on every little thing so im looking for a cheap solution. please be serious guys im on your side with our cars becoming rice burners and i would hate for my car to be one of them thats why im looking to you guys for something that doesnt cost a lot and isnt rice. plus the wheels are spray painted and i have a fart can looking greddy single so before i fix the scratch i need to replace those!!!!

Get one giant sticker! Did you try buffing it out? Try using some touchup paint. nobody will notice except you really...

too deep for buff and i used touch up on my uncles corolla which is also gray and it looked horrible, its not a tiny scratch its a long scrape. its a possible solution though dont get me wrong it in the back of my head but i know my way around plasti-dip( had a lot of fun on my friends beater) so if i use plasti-dip i can definitely do it right.

I agree with getting touch up paint from the dealership. Nothing else you do will look right.

its fixable but im looking for the most cost effective way, like i said i spend a lot of money on a new bumper to get it back to a good stock car and i dont really want to spend more money on the paint. i have more rice looking things to worry about replacing.

A big scratch like that sucks at first, especially when it's on a car you love.

My take? Live with it until you can afford to fix it the right way. If it's down to the metal at least put a clear coat over it so it doesn't rust. Plasti-dip, stickers, racing stripes... will look wayyyyyy worse than a scratch

i would wrap the car in a metallic matte vinyl. youll have a more unique car that everyone will wonder about.
theres a metallic matte blue out there that i go nuts for.
or..... plastidip the entire car. but it catches dust like crazy. and every time i see a dipped car i get a feeling someone might peel it off or scratch it just to see if its dipped.

i cant afford a wrap and plasti dipping the entire car is too rice for me. i love the stock look but i wouldnt mind a touch of uniqueness(stripe, design, etc..)

Live with it till you can afford to fix it properly... Perhaps you and your dad can split the cost. A reputable body shop should be able to fix that for a 300 - 400 bucks.

Good luck.

Well chit, you don't have any decent options left. Like previously stated, live with it until you can afford it.
