Default Deployment money!! (my build thread)

I've just gotten back from Afghanistan! Well..within the past month. Thought I'd share what all I've done to the car since being back, or had done while I was away. Car was tuned on a Mustang Dyno at CIN Motorsports (much thanks to Bobby and his boys in NC) at 304 HP and 274 TQ. I tracked the car this weekend and here's the average of my 3 best times. Reaction time: .512; 60': 2.15; 1/8: 8.63; 1/8 mph: 83.53; 1/4: 13.436; 1/4 mph: 105.27. This was tracked as my car is daily driven. Sub, spare tire, all of it. The driver requires more practice but the car performs beautifuly!

current mods
-Injin long tube intakes
-DC Sports ceramic headers
-Motordyne ART pipes
-Motordyne Shockwave 2 exhaust
-Quaife LSD w/ fabricated dif mount

-Z1 Urethane transmission mount

on order

nice list. 255-40-18 would be a better fit for the front though.

very true , but I really don't believe the 555 is available in that size. I would actually pick a different tire, the 555's are junk.

Thank you for the support and I hope y'all had a great memorial day as well.

I currently have 245/40-18 front and 275/35-18 rear. Tires are Nexen 3000's. Dern things tough as the road it rides on!

Meanz that is awesome. I'll have to keep a lookout for the end results. I've been debating between the twin turbo kit and SC for some time now...

StraightKill thanks! I've just about blown all of my deployment money on this car so all of my modding days might be coming to an end here soon... at least until my next deployment.

For some reason I'm not allowed to upload pictures to threads. However, all pictures of the car can be found here! https://www.facebook.com/pages/2007-...57721890914276

Alright, I'm halfway through my deployment and almost got enough for my JWT twin kit. Anyone know of a reputable place to get them and have them shipped to me? I can put them on myself and have it tuned nearby but everywhere I've been wants you to bring the car to them, and I'm not really interested it driving all the way to Georgia or wherever to get them put on.

Congrats OP, looking forward to the finished product. Just curious, how long have you been in? Isn't the current economic status somewhat alarming enough to be spending that much on your Z?

Well, it shouldn't be . Get your parts installed and post pics!!! Welcome back and thank you for your service.
