i am very serious in ordering a 350z. I want to get the orange one, but i want to touring, not the track. So is it possble to get just the brembo brakes. I want them because they are bremo's, and brembo's are great, but i also want them because they would look great on the orange. Any help would be appreciated.
My oppinion, don't waste $3000 dollars on the Brembos. They will feel and perform exactly the same, with the exception of a better fade resistence which would only really be nociceably on the track. So are the Brembos worthless, not at all, and I wich they were a stand alone option, but the touring just loked so much better inside to me. Use that money to paint the regulay calipers and get new rims.

In my opinion the whole track package looks much better than the touring. You get rays brembos and spoiler.
As for the brakes feeling the same I think the magazines have said the feel of the brembos are better. I don't think you want to hear that, but come back to reality brembos are on some of the best sports cars in the world for a reason.
True the stock brakes will stop you fine, and if you don't bring your car to the track you might not need the extra fade resistance, but like he said the brembos look so much better.
Bottom line touring gives you bose (most have said it was not worth a damn), leather (can be added to any car), and heated power seats (who cares?).
That's my 2 cents

My dealer offered to have the cloth seats reupholstered in leather but I declined.
If I decide to do leather on the existing seats I'll avoid the dealer markup and find a reputable place to get it done myself.

If you don't track your Z, no need for brembo.
If you plan tracking, it's worth every penny.
e46 M3s are well known having good breaks, but many people get their rotors wrapped at the track after single day's fun, and they get brembos. At least that's happening to M3s.

Ideally, I would want a Touring, no bose, no spoilers, 6-speed, 18" non-rays wheels, leather, nav, and brembos. Hopefully they will make that available at some point. I would love it if there was only one trim level and you could just choose every option.
Navi might still be able to ad OEM Navi if the dealer can order all the needed parts and it is still at a reasonable price. I know it can be done on other cars like Acura CL's and they requre more modification. so we will have to see what required.
